Call for Contribution

The Encyclopaedia Isfahanica invites researchers and authors interested in Isfahan and Isfahan Studies to contribute articles. Those interested may consult the list of entries/titles in the blue panel at the top of the Isfahanica website and select one of the titles marked “Waiting for author.”

When making a selection, a dialog box will appear asking for your résumé or biographical information along with the proposed title. After completing the required fields, please submit the form. It should be noted that entries marked “In the process” have already been assigned and are therefore not available for selection. If you are interested in a subject related to Isfahan Studies that does not appear in the list of titles, you may also propose it in the same dialog box.

It is recommended that, before choosing an entry, contributors read the article Why the Encyclopaedia Isfahanica? as well as the sections “Editorial Policies” and “Handbook of Writing” on the website, and review one or two published articles in the “Articles” section as models.

After receiving and reviewing the “Article Proposal and Curriculum Vitae,” the Academic Deputy of the Encyclopaedia will contact you. Authors of accepted articles will receive a certificate of authorship, and—based on specific calculations—an honorarium will be paid after the article is published on the website. The calculation takes into account the number of words, the evaluation grade of the article, and the author’s academic rank (lecturer, assistant professor, associate professor, or professor).
